A Little About Us

Kevin Barry’s officially opened on October 31, 1980 at midnight.  And, for you history buffs, November 1, 1980 was the 70th anniversary of the execution of our namesake, Kevin G. Barry.

ABC News cited Kevin Barry's Irish Pub as a Top 5 Irish Pub to visit for St Patrick's Day and was ranked in American's Best & Top 10 Irish Pubs. Kevin Barry's Irish Pub has also been recognized as one of the top military bars in the world by Military.com.* With that being said Kevin Barry's Irish Pub has been considered a home away from home for many service members who have passed through our doors over the last 35 years from Three Star Generals to a countless number of E1's of every branch of service. Our Hall of Heroes, on the second floor, is a testament to how much we appreciate our men and women in the armed forces and we welcome all those who serve, past or present, to stop by Kevin Barry's Irish Pub and make yourself at home.

What?!  No Wifi or Televisions?

Kevin Barry's Irish Pub is a traditional pub that doesn't have televisions blasting Toyota commercials nor do we offer wifi because we believe in "old fashion" FaceTime . You remember what that is, right?  It's where you put down your phones and have a face to face conversation with the person sitting next to you.

Since Kevin Barry's Irish Pub opened it's doors in 1980 we are proud to boast about the countless numbers of friendships that have formed as well as the number of people who have met and fallen in love within these walls all because we do not offer a distraction from what's right in front of you.

Don't believe us? Come by for a spell and let the magic of Kevin Barry's Irish Pub take you to a place you never expected!
